The BBQ season is on its way! Surprise your friends with a colourful vegetable skewer. These vegetable skewers are very tasty and look great too.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 EAT ME butternut squash
  • 8 EAT ME green asparagus
  • 2 red bell peppers
  • 2 sweetcorn cobs
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • Sea salt

Let's get to work

Preparation
  1. Peel the butternut squash. Remove the stem and the bottom of the squash. Cut the butternut squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds with a spoon. Cut the butternut squash into pieces of equal size.
  2. Cut the sweetcorn into four pieces.
  3. Rinse the bell pepper, cut in half and remove the seeds.
  4. Cut the green asparagus into equal-sized pieces.
  5. Cut the bell peppers into equal-sized pieces.
  6. Divide the bell peppers, sweetcorn, butternut squash and green asparagus equally over the 4 skewers.
  7. Grease the skewers with olive oil and grill the vegetable skewers in about 10 minutes.
  8. After grilling, sprinkle the skewers with sea salt.
