Grilled padron peppers

Treat your friends to an original snack  Briefly grill the padron peppers on the barbecue or grill pan and serve with a herb dip. Padron peppers score 0 on the Scoville heat scale. Not a fan of spicy food? Don’t worry, you can eat this pepper!

Ingredients

Grilled padron peppers

  • 1 clove of garlic
  • EAT ME Padrone Product photo
    500 g padrón peppers
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 5 g fresh mint
  • 5 g fresh coriander
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 4 tbsp yoghurt
  • salt and pepper

Kitchen tools

  • BBQ
  • Foil BBQ tray or grill pan

Preparation method

  1. Press the garlic above the peppers. Sprinkle with the olive oil. Season with salt and mix well.
  2. Thinly slice the mint and coriander leaves. Stir the chopped herbs through the mayonnaise and yogurt. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Grill the peppers in the foil BBQ tray on the barbecue in approx. 6 minutes just cooked. Alternatively, heat the grill pan and grill for around 8 minutes. Serve with the herb dip.
