Smoked salmon cocktail with mango

This cocktail is a delicious, light start to a nice dinner, with a spicy bite. If you can't find wasabi mayonnaise or if you think the ready-made version is too strong, why not make it yourself and add as much wasabi as you like. Still too much? Leave it out and add a little soy sauce to the mayonnaise.

Zalm cocktail met mango

  • 1 mango
  • 1 red sweet pepper
  • ½ cucumber
  • 200 g smoked salmon
  • 5 g flat-leaf parsley
  • 2 tbsp wasabi mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp black sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp green wasabi seeds
  • 50 g wakame

Preparation method

  1. Cut the mango into two halves along the stone. Or use a mango slicer. Remove the skin and cut the flesh into 1 cm cubes.
  2. Halve the sweet pepper, remove the seeds and chop the flesh into small cubes. Chop the cucumber and salmon into small cubes.
  3. Finely chop the parsley leaves. Mix the mango, sweet pepper, cucumber and salmon with the wasabi mayonnaise and parsley. Divide the salad between four glasses and sprinkle with the sesame and wasabi seeds. Garnish with a small amount of wakame.

Variation tip Replace the smoked salmon with super fresh tuna (sushi grade).
