Grill the Shanghai paksoy in the pan or on the BBQ. This elongated cabbage variety tastes amazing grilled and retains it crunch. Try it yourself with this recipe.
Heat the grill pan. Brush the chicken fillets with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Gril the meat on a high heat in the grill pan until attractive char marks appear on both sides. Season with salt and pepper. Place the fillets in an oven dish. Bake the meat in the middle of the oven for approx. 10 minutes.
Halve the Shanghai paksoy lengthwise and remove the stem at the base. Brush the cut sides of the cabbage with the rest of the olive oil. Heat the grill pan again. Place them cut side down on the grill and cook for about 2 minutes. Turn halfway. Season with salt and pepper.
Arrange the Shanghai paksoy on the plates. Slice the chicken fillets and serve with the cabbage.
