Ingredients

Overnight oats

  • Blue Berries Product Photo
    100 g blueberries
  • 100 g oatmeal
  • 200 ml (plant-based) milk
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of cinnamon

Preparation method

  1. Place the oatmeal, chia seeds, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon and maple syrup in a sealable jar or bowl. Stir well.
  2. Add the blueberries and gently stir into the mixture. You can also mash a few berries to add extra flavour to the oats.
  3. Place the mixture in the fridge overnight (at least 6 hours). The chia seeds and oatmeal absorb the liquid and create a creamy texture.
  4. Garnish with some blueberries.

Tip: garnish the overnight oats with nuts, grated coconut, slices of banana or granola.

Enjoy!
