Bimi® Christmas tree with beef tenderloin

This dish is bursting with vibrancy, enticing aroma and flavour! Arrange Bimi® in the shape of a Christmas tree in an oven dish and decorate with the tomatoes. For a fabulous festive creation!

Bimi® Christmas tree with beef tenderloin

    800 g Bimi®
  • 200 g red cherry tomatoes
  • 200 g yellow cherry tomatoes
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 50 g butter
  • 700 g beef tenderloin, at room temperature
  • salt and pepper

Preparation method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
  2. Arrange the Bimi® in the shape of a Christmas tree in an oven dish. Decorate the ‘tree’ with the cherry tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Heat the butter in a frying pan. Pat the meat dry and season with salt and pepper. Fry the meat on high heat in approx. 5 minutes until nicely brown on all sides. Place the meat in a small oven dish.
  4. Bake the Bimi® and tomatoes in the oven for approx. 12 minutes. Add the meat at the same time.
  5. Remove the meat from the oven. Loosely cover with aluminium foil or a lid and leave to rest for 5 minutes. Slice the meat and drape over the Bimi®. Drizzle with some gravy from the pan or oven dish.


  1. Tip: Add a Mediterranean touch by adding 1 tablespoon of dried Herbes de Provence and a clove of finely chopped garlic to the olive oil. Black olives also look lovely in this Christmas tree!
