Fancy perfect crispy chips with a delicious flavour? They go with just about everything and make each dish special. Great idea to make chips from a special vegetable like topinambur, instead of the ordinary potato.

Ingredients

  • 400g EAT ME topinambur
  • salt

Let's get to work

Preparation
  • Peel and wash the topinambur.
  • Then cut into slices and then cut into nice thin chips.
  • Blanch the topinambur chips for 2 minutes in boiling water, rinse with cold water.
  • Pat them dry with a tea towel or paper towel.
  • Fry the chips for about 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle the chips with salt.


Tip: For the classic 'Chips with mayonnaise' you can make a delicious homemade mayonnaise with a dash of lime.
