Party time! It's always hard to come up with new ideas for a party snack. This filled kumquat is just the thing, it is different and deliciously full of flavour.


  • 8 EAT ME fresh figs
  • 1 EAT ME Lime
  • 250 g EAT ME Kumquats
  • 10 ml water
  • 100 g jelly sugar
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp. milk
  • 50 g shaved almonds

Let's get to work

  1. Peel the figs and cut the flesh into small pieces.
  2. Halve the lime and then squeeze the juice from the fruit.
  3. Bring the figs with the jelly sugar, lime juice and water to a boil, stirring continuously. Let this simmer for about 6 minutes.
  4. Remove the jam from the heat and let it cool in the fridge.
  5. Mix the cream cheese and milk together to make the cream cheese softer.
  6. Rinse the kumquats and cut the top. Don't cut them all the way through.
  7. Toast the almonds in a dry frying pan until golden brown.
  8. Fill the kumquats with a teaspoon of cream cheese and fig jam.
  9. Sprinkle with shaved almonds.
