What is a Christmas dinner without a festive side dish? How about changing the traditional haricots verts recipe and combine them with different vegetables?


  • 300 g EAT ME haricots verts
  • 12 slices of bacon
  • 1 onion
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 120 g semi-sun-dried tomatoes
  • salt & pepper

Let's get to work

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  2. Rinse the haricots verts and cut the stems off.
  3. Cook the haricots verts in salt water for about 5 minutes. Rinse in cold water.
  4. Equally divide the haricots verts into 12 bundles and wrap with bacon. Place baking paper on a baking tray, place the haricots verts on it and cook for about 10 minutes.
  5. Cut the onion into half rings and the bell pepper into strips. Cook the vegetables in the olive oil until done and add the sun-dried tomatoes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve the haricots verts bundles on the baked vegetables.
