  • Haricot verts with lime and almonds

How about serving a nice green side dish? Add crispy almonds and fresh lime to make this special haricots verts recipe.


  • 300 g EAT ME haricots verts
  • 5 g EAT ME basil
  • 5 g EAT ME mint
  • 1 EAT ME lime
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 15 g almond shavings
  • 2 tbsp. walnut oil
  • salt

Let's get to work

  1. Wash the haricots verts and cut the ends off.
  2. Chop the onion and crush the garlic with a garlic press.
  3. Rinse the basil and mint and chop finely.
  4. Put water in a saucepan and bring to the boil, blanch the haricots verts with a pinch of salt for about 2 minutes. Rinse with cold water immediately.
  5. Toast the almond shavings in a dry frying pan until golden brown and leave to cool.
  6. Heat the walnut oil in a frying pan and fry the onion and garlic. Add the haricots verts, the mint and the basil.
  7. Rinse the lime, grate the peel and put aside. Halve the lemon and then squeeze the juice from the fruit. Add to the haricots verts.
  8. Serve the haricots verts with the almond shavings and the lime zest.
