Crepes with physalis jam is surely one of our favourite desserts. The physalis jam gives these crepes a lovely sweet taste. They will be so yummy!


  • 100 g flour
  • 200 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • pinch of salt
  • knob of butter

Physalis jam:

  • 300 g EAT ME physalis
  • 3 EAT ME limes
  • 1 orange
  • 120 g jelly sugar
  • 1 dl water

Let's get to work

  1. Mix the flour, milk, eggs and salt in a bowl. Beat this to make a smooth batter.
  2. Now continue with the sauce. Remove the papery husks from the physalis berries. Rinse the berries and cut in half.
  3. Cut the limes and the orange in half and squeeze the juice from the fruits.
  4. Mix all the ingredients for the jam in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring continuously. Leave the jam to simmer for about 10 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and leave the jam to cool down.
  5. Heat a knob of butter in a frying pan. Bake 8 very thin crepes.
  6. Place 2 crepes on a plate. Spread the physalis jam on the crepes.
