Couscous is a delicious Mediterranean dish, often using sweet ingredients in combination with savoury ingredients. This time we will use delicious fruit to keep the couscous completely sweet. Great for breakfast or a snack.


  • 125 g EAT ME kiwi berries
  • 125 g EAT ME red currants
  • 1 EAT ME lime
  • 1 apple
  • 1 pear
  • 200 g whole-wheat couscous
  • 100 g soaked white raisins
  • 50 g pistachios
  • 100 g walnuts
  • 1 tsp. agave syrup
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Let's get to work

  1. Prepare the couscous according to the directions on the packet.
  2. Rinse the kiwi berries and the red currants. Strip the berries off the stalks. Slice the apple, pear and kiwi berries into small pieces. Slice the lime in half. Squeeze the juice from the fruit and mix with the sliced fruit.
  3. Chop the walnuts and pistachios coarsely.
  4. Mix the kiwi berries, red currants, apple, pear, walnuts, pistachios and couscous together.
  5. Season with cinnamon, agave syrup and a pinch of salt.
