This starter will steal the show at Christmas dinner. Super trendy and made in an instant.


  • 1.5 EAT ME avocados
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 12 tiger shrimp
  • 1 tbsp. sesame oil
  • sea salt
  • 50 g sushi rice
  • 1 tbsp. sushi vinegar
  • 150 g of cooked beetroot
  • 25 g black sesame seeds
  • soy sauce
  • salt & pepper

Let's get to work

  1. Crush the garlic with a garlic press. Mix the shrimp with sesame oil, garlic and sea salt.
  2. Grill the shrimp until done in a grill pan.
  3. Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package. Season to taste with the sushi vinegar. Put a tablespoon of sushi rice in the jar.
  4. Cut the boiled beets into equal sized cubes and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cut the avocado all the way around, going as deep as the stone. Twist until you can pull the 2 halves apart. Remove the stone and spoon out the flesh and cut into cubes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  6. First fill the jars with a tablespoon of sushi rice, then a layer of boiled beets, then the diced avocado and finally place the shrimp on the avocado. Then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  7. Pour soy sauce over the sushi salad to taste.
