  • Sugar snaps with shiitake and rice

This recipe is very healthy, but also tasty and easy & quick to prepare. What more could you ask for!


  • 400 g EAT ME sugar snaps
  • 240 g of brown rice
  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 100 g shiitake
  • 1 spring onion
  • 3 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 50 g cashew nuts
  • salt & pepper

Let's get to work

  1. Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Peel the carrot and rinse the bell pepper. Slice the carrot, bell pepper and shiitake into thin strips. Cut the spring onion into 1 cm pieces.
  3. Crush the garlic.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a wok and fry the garlic. Then add the carrot, bell pepper, shiitake and spring onion. Add the sugar snaps after 2 minutes and wok together for another 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  5. Drain the rice and serve with the vegetables.
  6. Coarsely chop the cashew nuts and sprinkle over the vegetables.
  7. Tip: add some soy sauce manis.
