This stir-fry meal with lots of vegetables is quick and easy to prepare. The sugar snaps, bell peppers and thin strips of carrot are ready in minutes. A great dish if you want to prepare a quick, yet healthy meal.


  • 400 g EAT ME sugar snaps
  • 12 shiitake mushrooms
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 large carrot
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 240 g rice
  • 3 tbsp. olive oil
  • pepper & salt

Let's get to work

  1. Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Peel the carrot and rinse the bell pepper. Slice the carrot, bell pepper and shiitakes into thin strips.
  3. Stir-fry the vegetables for 2 minutes in the olive oil.
  4. Crush the garlic and add together with the sugar snaps to the stir-fried vegetables. Stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
  5. Bring to taste with salt and pepper.
  6. Place the rice and stir-fried vegetables on the plates.


To make the sugar snaps even tastier, try adding soy sauce or curry powder.
