  • Spicy chicken with rice noodles

How about making a nice Asian meal? Use lemon grass in your recipe, this gives the chicken a nice refreshing flavour.


  • 1 EAT ME cayenne pepper
  • 2 stalks EAT ME lemongrass
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 200 g broccoli
  • 200 g rice noodles
  • ½ cucumber
  • 500 g diced chicken
  • 2 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp. soya sauce

Let's get to work

  1. Slice the cayenne pepper in half, remove the seeds and cut in very tiny pieces. Crush the garlic with a garlic press and cut the lemongrass stalks into pieces.
  2. Add the garlic, the lemongrass, 2 tablespoons of soya sauce and the cayenne pepper to the chicken Leave this to marinate for a little while.
  3. In the meantime, cut the broccoli florets off the broccoli and slice the cucumber into strips.
  4. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in the wok and stir-fry the chicken along with the lemongrass, the cayenne pepper and garlic and remove from the wok. Also remove the lemongrass as it is not edible.
  5. Cook the rice noodles according to the instructions on the packet.
  6. Heat another tablespoon of sesame oil in the wok and stir-fry the broccoli florets and cucumber for 4 minutes. Add the soya sauce and cook for another 2 minutes. Place the rice noodles, chicken and the vegetables into 4 bowls.
