Something a bit different than ordinary ice cream: sharon fruit ice cream. Make this ice cream a day in advance because it takes time to freeze. Then, surprise your friends or family with a very special homemade dessert: sharon fruit ice cream.


  • 3 EAT ME Sharon fruit
  • 1 EAT ME lime
  • 25g EAT ME blueberries
  • 25g EAT ME raspberries
  • 100g granulated sugar
  • 9 ice cream waffles
  • 100 ml of water
  • icing sugar

Let's get to work

  1. Bring the sugar and the water to the boil in a saucepan. Boil for 5 minutes until it has turned into a sugar syrup.
  2. Peel the sharon fruit peel and puree with the sugar syrup and the juice of the lime.
  3. Pour the mixture into an ice cream machine or into a freeze- proof container. After 8 hours the ice cream is ready.
  4. Dust the ice cream waffels with icing sugar.
  5. Make a tower out of scoops of ice cream and waffles.
  6. Garnish with blueberries, raspberries and icing sugar.
