  • Sharon fruit carpaccio with pomegranate

Provide a surprising and attractive salad during a cozy dinner or barbecue. Sharon fruit has a beautiful deep orange colour and is a real eyecatcher when you cut it into neat slices. Serve this salad on a nice plate for an extra wow factor.

Ingredients

  • 4 EAT ME sharon fruit
  • 1 EAT ME pomegranate
  • 10 g EAT ME mint
  • ½ head of a red lettuce
  • 50 g Lamb's lettuce (or Mache lettuce)
  • 50 g pistachios

Let's get to work

Preparation
  1. Cut off the top of the pomegranate. Cut gently along the ridges from the top to the bottom. Break the fruit open. Then remove the seeds from the fruit.
  2. Rinse the red lettuce and Lamb's lettuce and mix together.
  3. Chop the pistachios coarsely.
  4. Was the sharon fruit and cut into thin slices.
  5. Place the lettuce on a nice serving platter. Place the sharon fruit in a circle on the lettuce.
  6. Then sprinkle the pomegranate seeds and chopped pistachio nuts over the salad.
  7. Wash the mint leaves and divide over the salad.
