  • Sausage rolls made with green mini asparagus

Everybody knows what sausage rolls are. This recipe combines the characteristic flavour of green mini asparagus with lovely ham in a delicious crunchy roll. This will taste great!


  • 200 g EAT ME green mini asparagus
  • 5 slices (turkey)ham
  • 5 sheets of puff pastry
  • 1 egg

Let's get to work

  1. Blanch the green mini asparagus in boiling water for 3 minutes. Rinse the mini asparagus immediately to stop the cooking process. Leave them to drain in a strainer.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200 ͦC.
  3. Place the puff pastry on the kitchen counter and let the sheets thaw slightly.
  4. Place a piece of (turkey) ham on each piece of puff pastry. Divide the green mini asparagus equally over the puff pastry.
  5. Fold the puff pastry closed in the shape of a rectangle. Use a fork to press the sides closed.
  6. Beat the egg and brush it on the puff pastry.
  7. Bake the asparagus rolls in about 18 minutes until golden brown.
