An oriental touch makes this salmon delicious. Give your salmon just that something special by marinating it in a tasty sauce. Serve the salmon on a bed of grated cucumber and wholegrain rice.

Ingredients

  • 20 g EAT ME organic ginger
  • 4 fresh salmon fillets with skin
  • 1 lime
  • 2 tbsp. sweet soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 cayenne pepper
  • ½ tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp. olive oil

Preparation
  1. Peel the ginger and grate it finely.
  2. Wash and halve 1 cayenne pepper and remove the seeds, then slice finely. Slice the garlic.
  3. Mix the ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, olive oil, cayenne pepper, the juice of half a lime and garlic together to make the marinade.
  4. Marinate the salmon in this for 40 minutes.
  5. Then remove the salmon from the marinade and use a strainer to remove the ginger, garlic and cayenne pepper from the marinade.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
  7. Heat a frying pan and sear the salmon on both sides.
  8. Place the salmon with its skin down on a baking tray.
  9. Place the pepper, ginger and garlic from the strained marinade on top of the salmon.
  10. Bake the salmon in the oven for about 8 minutes.
  11. Serve with brown rice and grated cucumber.
