So much fun to make: rambutan covered with a chocolate coconut layer. A great dessert or maybe as a snack to go alongside a high tea.


  • 10 EAT ME rambutans
  • 20 g grated coconut
  • 360 g of chocolate (dark or milk)

Let's get to work

  1. Cut the rambutan right around and remove half of the skin, so you can see half of the fruit.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie.
  3. Dip the flesh of the rambutan in the warm chocolate and sprinkle with the grated coconut straight away.
  4. Let the chocolate harden.


* Be careful when eating this fruit, it still has an inedible seed in the middle.
