How about making a nice and healthy breakfast? Make pumpkin oatmeal with kruidnoten on top. If there aren't any kruidnoten are left in the store, use bastogne.

Ingredients

  • ½ EAT ME butternut squash
  • 50 g oatmeal
  • 1 tbsp. maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • ½ tbsp. speculaas spices
  • 250 ml of almond milk

Let's get to work

Preparation
  1. Peel the butternut squash. Remove the stem and the bottom of the squash. Cut the butternut squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds with a spoon. Cut the pumpkin into slices and then into pieces.
  2. Put the pieces of butternut squash and almond milk in a saucepan. Bring it to the boil for 20 minutes until the pieces of butternut squash are done.
  3. Puree the butternut squash untill smooth and add the oatmeal, maple syrup and speculaas spices. Let it cook for another 5 minutes until it becomes more solid.
  4. Put the puree in a bowl and garnish with cookies.
