The recipe for Poké bowl has come over from Hawaii and is all about raw fish. All the ingredients in this dish are raw. This is a light and tasty recipe for a balanced meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 EAT ME avocado
  • 1 EAT ME mango
  • 250 g EAT ME edamame
  • 200 g rice
  • 300 g fresh salmon
  • 120 g sliced red cabbage
  • 1 spring onion
  • 1 tbsp. black sesame seeds
  • 3 tbsp. soy sauce
  • ½ tbsp. brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp. rice vinegar

Let's get to work

Preparation
  1. Cook the rice by following the instructions on the packet.
  2. Put water and the edamame into a pan and bring to a boil, cook for about 8 to 10 minutes and rinse with cold water.
  3. Open the pods and remove the beans.
  4. Cut the avocado all the way around, going as deep as the stone. Twist until you can pull the 2 halves apart. Remove the stone with a spoon. Peel the avocado or scoop the flesh out and cut into cubes.
  5. Cut the mango along both sides of the stone or use a mango slicer. Then cut some strips in the seedless flesh, without cutting through the skin. Also, slice in the opposite direction so you get a crosshatch pattern. Spoon the cubes from the mango.
  6. Cut the salmon into thin strips and the spring onions into fine rings.
  7. Put the rice in the bowls and divide the avocado, mango, salmon, red cabbage and edamame on top of the rice.
  8. Sprinkle with spring onions and black sesame seeds.
  9. Mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil and rice vinegar into a dressing and pour over the Poké bowl.
Enjoy
