Physalis berries are delicious to make jam with. Try it yourself with this easy recipe and discover the many ways to combine this delicious jam.


  • 300 g EAT ME physalis
  • 3 EAT ME limes
  • 1 orange
  • 120 g jam sugar
  • 1 dl water

Let's get to work

  1. Remove the papery husks from the physalis berries. Rinse the berries and cut in half.
  2. Cut the limes and orange in half and squeeze it.
  3. Mix all the ingredients for the jam in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring continuously. Leave the jam to simmer for about 10 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and let the jam cool down.
  4. Pour the jam into a preserving jar. Unopened, this jam will keep for about 6 to 9 months.
