Want to make an easy and fruity dessert? The physalis apple galette is so delicious and made in a jiffy. The galette is nice and fresh because of the added apple and physalis.


  • 200 g EAT ME physalis
  • 1 EAT ME Lemon
  • 5 apples
  • 100 g sugar
  • 5 slices puff pastry
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • Flour for dusting

Let's get to work

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  2. Defrost the slices of puff pastry.
  3. Cut the apples into small cubes and remove the papery skin from the physalis and rinse the berries.
  4. Halve the lime and squeeze the juice from the fruit.
  5. Mix the apple, the physalis, the cinnamon, the sugar and the lime juice together.
  6. Dust the bench with flour and then stick the slices of puff pastry to each other. Roll the puff pastry into a circle.
  7. Spoon the apple-physalis mixture into the middle of the dough circle and fold the edges of the dough around the fruit.
  8. Wisk the egg and brush on top of the dough.
  9. Bake the gallete for about 20 to 25 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
