Surprise your guests the Italian way. This pesto is easy to make and tastes nice with just about everything. Serve on toast or stir through a warm pasta dish.


  • 100 g EAT ME basil
  • 60 g pine nuts
  • 60 g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 100 ml olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • pepper & salt

Let's get to work

  1. Roast the pine nuts in a dry frying pan on medium heat until they are golden brown.
  2. Cut the garlic in large pieces.
  3. Rinse the basil.
  4. Use a stick mixer to mix the basil leaves, Parmesan cheese, pine nuts, garlic and olive oil. Mix until you have a coarse pesto, add salt and pepper to taste.


Fresh basil is delicious in a pasta recipe or served in a traditional way with Carpaccio.
