Creating your own pizza is simply the best because you can make it with your own favourite ingredients. Don't go for the standard pizza with salami, but choose pepino in combination with blue cheese and hazelnuts. The combination will surprise you!



  • 500 g flour
  • 1 sachet of dried yeast
  • 300 ml water
  • ½ tsp. sugar
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil


  • 2 EAT ME Pepino's
  • 300 g gorgonzola
  • 12 cherry tomatoes
  • 175 g white hazelnuts
  • honey
  • rocket

Let's get to work

  1. Heat the water in a saucepan and dissolve the yeast along with the sugar in the water.
  2. Crush the garlic with a garlic press and add to the water in the saucepan.
  3. Mix the yeast mixture gently through the flour and add olive oil and salt while mixing. Knead the mixture well until it becomes elastic. Then let the dough rise for 45 minutes in a warm place.
  4. Divide the dough once it has risen into four equal pieces and shape into a ball.
  5. Dust a work surface with flour and roll the dough pieces into a diameter of about 20 to 24 centimeters.
  6. Preheat the oven to 220 °C.
  7. Cut the pepino vertically in half. Remove the skin and cut the flesh into slices and place on the pizza dough.
  8. Cut the gorgonzola into pieces, halve the cherry tomatoes and crush the hazelnuts. Evenly divide the gorgonzola, the hazelnuts and cherry tomatoes on the pizza.
  9. Bake the pizzas in the oven for about 6 to 8 minutes.
  10. Drizzle the pizzas to taste with honey and serve with leaves of rocket.
