Figs are deliciously sweet and are perfect to fill and warm up. You will certainly not forget these heavenly figs. Your friends will surely want to have this recipe!


  • 12 EAT ME figs
  • 4 tbsp. crème fraiche
  • 75 g amaretti biscuits
  • 75 g grated almonds
  • 75 g brown sugar
  • 25 g butter
  • 50 g honey
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 1 lemon

Let's get to work

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
  2. Chop the amaretti biscuits coarsely and place in a mixing bowl. Add the grated almonds, brown sugar and honey.
  3. Cut the butter into small cubes and add it to the almond mixture.
  4. Wash the lemon and grate the peel. Squeeze the juice from the lemon and add it along with the lemon zest to the almonds.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Cut the figs crosswise but not right through.
  7. Spread the filling on the figs.
  8. Bake the figs for about 7 to 9 minutes in the oven.
  9. Cut the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape the vanilla seeds from the pod.
  10. Mix the vanilla marrow with the crème fraiche.
  11. Serve the warm figs with the vanilla cream.
