Do you love delicious spicy curries and usually use a packet or a jar to make it? Not anymore, because we have a nice and easy recipe for a delicious curry. The curry is very spicy because of the habanero chilli. You decide how hot you want it.

Ingredients

  • 1 EAT ME habanero chilli
  • 10 g EAT ME ginger
  • 10 g EAT ME turmeric
  • 1 EAT ME lime
  • 200 g EAT ME shiitake
  • 5 large chicken thighs
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 spring onion
  • 2 tsp. Garam Masala
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 10 ml olive oil
  • ¼ L Greek yoghurt
  • ½ chicken stock cube

Let's get to work

Preparation
  1. Rinse the habanero chilli, cut in half and remove the seeds. Cut the chilli into very small pieces and set aside.
  2. Cut the lime in half. Squeeze the juice from the fruit.
  3. Grate the ginger, turmeric and garlic and mix with the yoghurt, brown sugar, garam masala, the habanero chilli and lime juice. Let the chicken marinate in this mixture for least 20 minutes.
  4. Heat half the oil in a wok and fry the chicken. Add the remaining marinade and the stock cube. Let this simmer for 30 minutes on low heat.
  5. Slice the shiitake and cut the spring onions into pieces. Stir fry in a frying pan with the remaining oil. Bake in 3 minutes until cooked and place on top of the curry.
  6. Serve the curry with rice and naan bread.
