This homemade guacamole is creamy, tasty and absolutely delicious. The perfect avocado dip to go with tortilla chips or as a side dish with Mexican food.


  • 2 EAT ME avocados
  • ½ EAT ME lime
  • ½ EAT ME jalapeño pepper (or ¼ EAT ME cayenne pepper)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 small shallot
  • 1 tomato
  • salt & pepper

Let's get to work

  1. Cut the avocado all the way around, going as deep as the stone. Twist until you can pull the 2 halves apart. Remove the stone, scoop out the flesh and put in a bowl.
  2. Cut the lime in half and squeeze the juice on the avocado. Mash it with a fork but keep some texture.
  3. Cut the shallot and press the garlic with a garlic press.
  4. Rinse the pepper, cut in half and remove the seeds. Slice one half of the pepper very finely.
  5. Add the shallot, the garlic and the pepper pieces to the avocado mixture.
  6. Finely chop the tomato and add to the mixture. Mix all ingredients together well.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste.



Add coriander for an extra Mexican flavour.
