Serve a different kind of snack to your friends for a change. Grill the padrone peppers briefly on the barbecue or in the oven and serve with a mild dip. The padrone pepper scores a 0 on the hot scale. So if you don't really like spicy food, this pepper is perfect!

Ingredients

  • 500 g EAT ME Padrone peppers
  • 5 g EAT ME mint
  • 5 g EAT ME coriander
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 4 tbsp. yoghurt
  • olive oil
  • pepper & salt

Let's get to work

Preparation
  1. Preheat the barbecue.
  2. Rinse the padrone peppers and use a garlic press to crush the garlic and put the garlic on the peppers. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
  3. Rub it into the peppers well.
  4. Rinse the mint and coriander and chop finely.
  5. Make the herb dip by mixing the mint, coriander, mayonnaise and yoghurt together. Add salt and pepper to taste
  6. Grill the padrone peppers in 8 minutes until done.
  7. Serve with the herb dip.
