  • Ginger tea with lime and mint

Fresh ginger tea is not only nice but it's healthy as well. Ginger tea is easy to make. Delicious in combination with a ginger biscuit.

Ingredients

  • 30 g EAT ME ginger
  • 20 g EAT ME mint
  • 1 EAT ME lime (optional)

Let's get to work

Preparation
  1. Peel the ginger and slice in finely cut strips or grate the ginger (then the ginger doesn't have to be peeled first).
  2. Bring 1 litre of water to the boil in a saucepan and add the strips or grated ginger.
  3. Simmer gently for 10 minutes. Take the pan off the heat and let it sit for a few minutes.
  4. Use a sieve to pour the tea from the saucepan.
  5. Cut the lime in two. Squeeze the juice by hand or use a fork to squeeze the juice out. Add the lime juice to your own taste to the tea.
  6. Rinse the mint and divide over 4 tea glasses. Pour the ginger tea in the 4 glasses.
