  • French toast with mango and coconut

Spoil your loved ones with a delicious breakfast. Of course you can't leave out these irresistible French toast. Would you like to spoil them even more? Make a nice smoothie as well.

Ingredients

  • 1 EAT ME mango
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 slices white bread
  • 50 ml cream
  • 50 ml coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp. ground coconut
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • butter
  • Icing sugar

Let's get to work

Preparation
  1. Take the crusts off the bread.
  2. Beat the eggs with the cream, milk and sugar in a deep plate or dish.
  3. Dip the bread into the egg mixture, leave them in for a while so it gets soaked up.
  4. Slice the mango along the seed lengthwise. Do this on both sides. Use a spoon or a knife to remove the flesh from the skin and cut in small cubes.
  5. Place the mango cubes and the ground coconut on two slices of bread.
  6. Put the other two slices of bread on top and press the sides together well.
  7. Use a heart shaped mold to cut a heart out of the uncooked French toast.
  8. Melt a piece of butter in a frying pan and bake the bread on high heat on both sides until golden brown.
  9. Dust the French toast with icing sugar and serve them while still warm.
