You probably know what flammkuchen are because they are extremely popular at the moment. We have made a delicious variety with green asparagus and cherry tomatoes. Great to serve with drinks or as an appetizer at dinner.



  • 350 g flour
  • 7 g dried yeast
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 200 ml lukewarm water
  • dash of olive oil


  • 450 g EAT ME green asparagus
  • 15 cherry tomatoes
  • 2 red onions
  • 200 g crème fraiche
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 150 g raw ham
  • 3 tbsp. grated cheese
  • salt and pepper

Let's get to work

  1. Mix the flour, yeast and salt in a bowl. Gently pour in the lukewarm water and knead until the dough is smooth. Finally add the olive oil. Cover the bowl with a damp tea towel and let the dough rise for 1 hour.
  2. Preheat the oven to 230 °C.
  3. Cut the green asparagus and cherry tomatoes in half. Slice the onion into rings.
  4. Make the sauce by mixing the crème fraîche and the cream cheese together.
  5. Cover a baking tray with baking paper. Roll the dough out to a thickness of 1 cm and place on the baking tray.
  6. Brush the sauce on the dough. Place the raw ham, onions, cherry tomatoes and green asparagus on the dough.
  7. Sprinkle the dough with the grated cheese and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Bake the flammkuchen in the oven in approximately 15 minutes.
