A great snack when you're having drinks but also perfect to serve at a lunch or brunch. The cream cheese and chives balls are delicious to spread on bread rolls and they look great as well.

Ingredients

  • 70 g EAT ME chives
  • 250 g cream cheese (natural)
  • 2 tbsp. cooking cream
  • ½ red bell pepper
  • 25 g peeled walnuts
  • pepper & salt
  • ½ tsp. mustard

Let's get to work

Preparation
  1. Put the cream cheese in a bowl.
  2. Halve the red bell pepper, remove the seeds and slice cubes of one half and add to the cream cheese.
  3. Add the cooking cream and mustard to the cream cheese. Add pepper and salt to taste.
  4. Mix it all together carefully until it is mixed well.
  5. Rinse the chives, slice these finely and place on a deep dish.
  6. Use a spoon to make 14 equally sized ball out of the cream cheese mixture and place half a walnut in every piece.
  7. Place a piece of the cream cheese on the chives and roll into a small ball.
  8. Serve the balls on a wooden cheese board or on a dish.
