Green, white, red. The main ingredients of this tasty classic salad symbolize the colours of the flag; basil, mozzarella and tomato. Finish it off with an extra virgin olive oil, a heavenly combination of flavours!

Ingredients

  • 5 sprigs of EAT ME basil
  • 375 grams buffalo mozzarella
  • 3 Pomodoro tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • salt & pepper

Let's get to work

Preparation
  1. Cut the buffalo mozzarella into thin slices.
  2. Cut the Pomodoro tomatoes into thin slices.
  3. Rinse the basil and remove the leaves from the stems.
  4. Place the slices of mozzarella and tomato alternately overlapping each other on a plate or in a bowl.
  5. Bring to taste with salt and pepper.
  6. Drizzle with olive oil and scatter the basil leaves on top.
