  • Cactus fig with goat cheese

Do you just love goat cheese and would like to try a new recipe? The tangy fresh flavour of the cactus fig tastes delicious with the goat cheese.


  • 1 EAT ME cactus fig
  • 6 leaves lollo rosso lettuce
  • 6 slices goat cheese
  • 2 tbsp pine nuts
  • 2 tbsp honey

Let's get to work

  1. Stick a fork in the cactus fig and cut both ends off the fruit. Score the skin lengthwise.
    The skin can now easily be removed with a fork. Cut the flesh in slices.
  2. Rinse de lollo rosso leaves and leave to drain.
  3. Roast the pine nuts in a dry frying pan until they are golden brown.
  4. Place the lollo rosso leaves on a plate, layer the cactus figs and slices of goat cheese on top of each other.
    Sprinkle the dish with pine nuts and a little splash of honey over the top.
