  • Bimi® quiche with turnip

A quiche is easy to make and very convenient if you're receiving guests. The quiche can be made beforehand and can be kept in the fridge for a few days. Do you have a piece Bimi® quiche left over? Eat it for lunch! Healthy, easy and delicious!



  • 250 g flour
  • 125 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp. cold water
  • salt


  • 200 g EAT ME Bimi®
  • 1 EAT ME turnip
  • 2 sprigs of EAT ME fresh thyme
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 tbsp. creme fraiche
  • ½ tsp curry powder
  • ½ tsp paprika powder
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 150 g grated young colby cheese
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • pepper & salt

Let's get to work

  1. Preheat oven to 170°C.
  2. Make the dough by mixing the butter and eggs together in a food processor. Add the flour, water and salt.
  3. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and line a cake tin with it.
  4. Crush the garlic with a garlic press and strip the thyme leaves off the stems. Beat the eggs and mix with the crème fraiche, curry powder, paprika powder, thyme and garlic. Bring to taste with salt and pepper.
  5. Peel the turnip and carrots and cut into thin slices.
  6. Cook the turnips, carrots and bimi for 2 minutes and rinse with cold water.
  7. Place the turnips and carrots on the bottom of the quiche dish, pour the egg mixture over it and put the Bimi® on top. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
  8. Bake in the oven for about 35 minutes until golden brown.


You can serve the quiche warm, lukewarm or cold.
