  • Baked potato with cranberry sauce

Serve a baked potato with your main meal. Fill this steamy hot jacket potato with homemade cranberry sauce. This side dish will complement any chicken-, turkey or game meal.


  • 340 g EAT ME cranberries
  • 1 sprig EAT ME parsley
  • 5 large potatoes
  • 200 ml water (alternative: red wine)
  • 150 g sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch cinnamon

Let's get to work

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
  2. Clean the potatoes really well and pat them dry.
  3. Wrap each potato in two layers of aluminum foil and place them into the oven.
    Bake until done for about 45 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile make the cranberry sauce by putting the cranberries, water (or wine), sugar,
    vanilla sugar, and cinnamon in a saucepan. Simmer gently for 2 minutes
    and remove the pan from the heat. Leave the sauce to cool down.
  5. Remove the aluminum foil from the potatoes and cut them lengthwise.
  6. Serve the cranberry sauce in or next to the baked potatoes. Decorate with a sprig of parsley
