Fun to make: avocados filled with chocolate mousse. These avocados can be served with coffee, tea or as a dessert.


  • 4 EAT ME avocados
  • 50 g dark chocolate
  • 1 dl cream
  • ½ tbsp. brown caster sugar
  • 1 tbsp. maple syrup
  • 50 g pistachios
  • 50 g hazelnuts

Let's get to work

  1. Preheat the oven to 180° C.
  2. Place baking paper on a baking tray. Place the hazelnuts and pistachios on the baking tray. Bake the nuts for about 4 to 5 minutes until golden brown. Then remove the baking tray from the oven and let the nuts cool down.
  3. Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie. Then fold the whipped cream through the mixture. Allow the mixture to cool in the fridge.
  4. Grind the hazelnuts and pistachios in a blender until crumbly.
  5. Cut the avocado all the way around, going as deep as the stone. Twist until you can pull the 2 halves apart. Remove the stone with a spoon and peel the avocado.
  6. Fill the avocados with the chocolate mousse and press the 2 halves of the avocados back together.
  7. Then roll the avocados through the crumbled nut mixture.
